REPUBLIC OF
PERILO MINISTRY OF HUMAN SERVICES
The Ministry of Human Services is responsible
for the provision of social and human services to residents of the Republic.
DEPARTMENTS, AGENCIES, AND MAJOR PROGRAMS:
- Department of Housing - responsible
for housing adequacy and quality in the Republic, and for the construction,
maintenance, and renovation of public housing.
- Bureau of Aboriginal Affairs -
administers programs to support and preserve the cultural and social systems
of aboriginal peoples.
- Department of Social Security -
manages the social security system of the Republic including the collection
of payments from individuals and organizations, the determination and
distribution of benefits, and the administration of public funding for
health insurance and services.
- Department of Public Welfare -
provides financial, educational, housing, employment on public works, and
other support services for those citizens who are unable to support
themselves or their families.
- Bureau of Special Needs Services -
provides support to citizens suffering from medical disability to assist
them in leading a normal and productive life.
